We are now in an era where conflicts over natural resources are growing to the extent that countries are going to war over sharing resources. There is tremendous environmental degradation, sometimes forcing communities to migrate away. In this course we try to understand how individuals and society as a whole are finding ways to deal with these issues. This course will cover the following issues: Civil society responses: resistance and activism; Legal interventions; Innovations; and Migration.
